MHEA : Safe Sitter Babysitter Class with CPR

If you are wanting to stay home alone, watch younger siblings, or start your own babysitter business, this class will prepare you! The Safe Sitter Curriculum covers all things babysitting including how to handle first aid situations, discipline problems, develop business skills and much, much more! In the afternoon we will complete American Heart Association CPR with real CPR manikins – adult and infant. If students successfully complete the skills check offs, they will earn a certification card.
The class is aimed at junior high students, but mature 5th graders up to high schoolers are welcome to register.
Students are to bring a sack lunch, drink and snack, along with a doll to practice babysitting skills.
Each student will receive the Safe Sitter Babysitter book, Safe Sitter completion card, American Heart Association CPR and First Aid book, and certification card (if earned).
